IACS has set aside resources to assist in IACS travel costs for those living outside of North America.  This funding is available for international scholars and international students with an accepted abstract to the upcoming IACS Summit on Communication and Sport.

Qualifications: 

• An international scholar traveling from an institution outside of the U.S. or Canada 

• A current member of IACS 

• Presenting at least one paper or participating in a panel at IACS 2025

• Money must be spent for travel to the 2025 conference (money not used will be forfeited) 

• Does not have existing monies from previous travel awards (all previous travel awards must be spent in 2024)

Deadline: January 17, 2025 at 11:59pm ET.

Funding will be based on number of applicants and will not exceed $500 USD per person.
